Growing up as a second-generation Chinese Canadian in Toronto’s rich and diverse cultural landscape has given me a profound understanding of the intersection between cultural identity and mental health. As a therapist specializing in depression, anxiety, neurodiversity, and trauma, I aim to provide you with safe, collaborative, and non-judgemental support so that you can better navigate challenges, build coping skills, and foster resilience to live a fulfilling life.
For those seeking support with ADHD, Autism, and neurodiversity, I take an integrative approach using traditional talk therapy and cognitive and behavioural training. Living with neurodiversity comes with unique challenges and stigmas that often result in internalized shame and unhelpful self-criticism. By using an integrative approach, we can improve your symptoms through cognitive and behavioural training while processing the psychological and emotional impacts of living with the stigma of neurodiversity.
With specialized training in working with attachment, trauma, neurodiversity, and couples, I aim to provide a safe and supportive space in which you can attune to yourself and your emotions, gain clarity over how your past influences your present experience, and gain crucial skills to increase your sense of empowerment over your emotions, behaviours, and choices. By helping you to enhance your self-awareness, improve mental well-being, and strengthen your relationship with yourself and your loved ones, I can support you in finding relief from shame through self-understanding and creating lasting emotional resilience and fulfillment.
Please reach out if you would like to meet for a free consultation. I look forward to meeting and working with you!

As someone who lives with anxiety, I relate to how much of a struggle it can be to get stuck in those ruminations, and get fixated on thoughts and fears that may be considered irrational but that you can’t talk yourself out of. Unfortunately, anxiety isn’t something that will ever fully disappear, but it is something that can be managed effectively. As a therapist, I love working with my clients to see the light at the end of the tunnel, and using evidence-based treatments like CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques to live more at ease and experience peace. I love helping my clients to build their anxiety and stress regulation muscles so that they can bring themselves back to a state of groundedness.
I’m also deeply passionate about working with relationship and attachment wounds, and have experience working with infidelity and narcissistic abuse. Relationship traumas can have deep and lasting impacts on the way we relate to others and ourselves. They can make you feel overwhelmed, distressed, confused and like you have to walk on eggshells even when you’re in healthy relationships. On the other hand, how you currently feel in your relationship or friendship may be because of unhealthy, toxic, or abusive dynamics and behaviours within the relationship. If you’re asking yourself the question of “is it me? Is it them? Or is it the relationship?”, that can feel very overwhelming and disorienting. I can provide an empathetic and objective ear to help bring clarity to the situation. We’ll work together to prioritize your therapy goals and develop a customized treatment plan that’s unique to your situation.
Please schedule a free 15-minute consultation with me so that we can meet and connect with each other to see if we’re a good fit for working together. I look forward to connecting and supporting you in your healing journey.
